How do fillers work?
Using a very fine needle, small amounts of dermal filler are eased under your skin to fill creases, lines, wrinkles or folds. It can be injected around the lip area to plump up and smooth out lip lines. Results of the treatment are immediate.
What can I expect following treatment?
You can resume normal activities following your treatment. The most commonly reported side effect has been a slight redness or swelling at the injection site. These effects typically resolve within a few hours, or at most, 24 to 48 hours.
Expect immediate results (and wonderful compliments)! Lines, wrinkles, and folds look softer. Your skin looks fresh and smooth.
How long do the results last?
Your results may last as long as 6 months to a year or more, depending on many factors such as skin structure, lifestyle, and age. You may require a touch up treatment 2 to 4 weeks after your visit to achieve desired results. When the effect of your treatment begins to diminish, you can replenish the area as needed.
